Electra ("we", "our", or "the app") is an offline electronics reference and calculator tool for engineers, students, and hobbyists. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Electra is designed to work entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Electra does not collect any personal information. The only data stored by the app is:

Notes — text notes you create within the app, stored locally in SQLite on your device.
Tool usage history — a log of which calculation tools you have opened, stored locally.
App settings — your theme preference and other configuration, stored locally via SharedPreferences.
Onboarding state — a flag indicating whether you have completed the introductory screens.

⚙️ How We Use Your Data

Data stored on your device is used solely to:

Display your saved notes and history within the app.
Remember your settings between app launches.
Restore your last used preferences.

We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

🔗 Third-Party Services

Electra does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services. The only network activity in the app is the optional loading of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages (this page), which are hosted on our website.

We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, or any similar service.

🗂️ Data Retention & Deletion

All data is stored on your device and is fully under your control. You can delete your data at any time by:

Deleting individual notes within the app.
Clearing tool history from the Learn > History tab.
Uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored data.

👶 Children's Privacy

Electra does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The app contains no features that require personal data entry.
